Popper 135

The body shape of the Walkabout Products Popper is different to a lot of others on the market. 

It’s specifically designed for the back end to sit down in the water while the head sits up.   When you jerk the rod or retrieve it, the nose will dig in and, create a big splash.  Or you can fast retrieve it with the rod tip down and it will create, a bubble trail.

Fitted with VMC Fishfighter 6 x strong, 3/0 trebles and VMC #8 split rings.

All Walkabout Products lures are uniquely designed by our founder, Glenn Buttler for how he likes to see lures move in the water. Manufactured in Townsville, NQ from sustainably sourced, untreated timber timbers that have naturally fallen in the NQ region.

Our products are rigorously tested to ensure they hold up to the biggest of catches. This includes leaving our lures on the car dash during summer to ensure they don’t melt in the hot north Queensland sun, and hanging weights of over 30kg from the bib so they don’t buckle under pressure. 

As we are using natural timber, you may notice some inconsistencies due to the grain of the timber. This will not impact the performance of the lure.
